i was wondering

question no. 11. midterm for HUR  269:

11. What is beauty? What do you consider beautiful?

Beauty is what pleases your eyes. That is physical beauty. Beauty also is what pleases you -> what makes you happy. Beauty also is sad, as it is perishable; corruptible. What I consider as beautiful is the true virtue of absolute beauty. The creation of ideals, when someone is in love, is beauty as it is the virtue of ideals that is truly beautiful. You may be able to kill a beautiful person, but an idea cannot be killed. Immortality means that this beauty is unperishable, which means that it can never be sad -> only happy. Eternal happiness is true beauty, I believe.

ps. do you always dry yourself the same way everytime you get out of the shower?

i got a 100% for that midterm. after reading it again, i was like 'whoa shit. this is NOT what i had in my mind. but it's kinda close enough ...'

but i dunno. she seemed to have understood what i was trying to say. i guess that's what profs are good at doing - deciphering their students' bullshit. but i really did bullshit half of it though - but then again, jeremy bullshit is pseudointellectual bullshit. so i guess she gets pseudo-intellectualism.
